In the year 2000 the international company Muhr and Bender invited 6 architects for a limited architectural competition to build a technology centre. The building was needed to meet the research demands facing a leading supplier to the automobile industry. The design, which has meanwhile been built was chosen because it offered optimal functionality and a unique “visiting card” for the company.
